Module: bookings

Last updated:

With the booking module, end customers book directly on the website: a hair appointment, a consultation or a table at the restaurant. Confirmations with calendar attachments are sent by the module itself.

Two modes

  • Appointments: the classic for service businesses. You create services with a duration ("men's haircut, 30 minutes"), and the module calculates the free slots from that.
  • Table reservations: for hospitality. Instead of services you manage tables with seats, and guests reserve for a time and party size.

Setup

When you first open the Appointments tab, an assistant walks you through setup in four steps: choose the business type (services or tables), add your offering, set opening hours and the confirmation mode — done. Then place the embed code on the website; every setting can be changed later in the tab. If you skip the assistant, everything is available directly in the settings.

How visitors book

The widget guides visitors through three steps: pick a service (or party size), then day and time — the month calendar marks days with availability while fully booked and closed days are greyed out; clicking a day leads to the time — by default a compact dropdown (grouped into morning, afternoon and evening), or all times as buttons if preferred. A compact 7-day bar is available as an alternative to the month view. Before submitting, a card sums everything up (service, slot, duration, price); after that, name and email are all it takes. If a week is fully booked, the widget suggests the next available slot right away. After booking, the appointment can be added to the calendar with one click, and returning visitors find their contact details pre-filled.

Design & form

In the Design & form block you pick one of four design presets (Clear, Soft, Sharp, Elegant) or set corner radius, border width, font and button shape yourself under "Custom". The calendar view (month calendar or day bar) is set here too. The widget picks up its accent colour and logo automatically from the website's design profile — so it matches the business's look without any extra work; the logo can be hidden if needed.

You also control the form here: phone field optional, required or hidden (tip: only require it if the business actually calls back — every required field costs bookings), note field on or off, and whether the "next available slot" suggestion should appear.

Bookings day to day

Incoming bookings appear in the tab. Depending on your settings they're either confirmed instantly or only after your client approves them. Both sides receive an email with a calendar file (.ics) that opens in Outlook, Apple Calendar and Google Calendar.

On top of that, your client's calendar can be linked via Google Calendar sync: booked appointments show up there automatically, and busy times are no longer offered for booking.

Double bookings

The module hands out each slot only once, even if two visitors book at the same moment. The second one is offered the next free slot.

Design chat

Every widget can be freely restyled in a dialogue: in the module tab, describe in the design chat how it should look ("dark look with gold accents", "like a business card") — the AI then writes real CSS against the widget, with a live preview before applying. Functional elements (inputs, buttons, mandatory notices such as the AI disclosure or consent) are always preserved. Without a custom design, the standard applies, based on the colours and typography from the website's design profile. "Reset" restores the standard at any time.

Price

Included on your agency's first website; €19 per month for every additional website, cancellable monthly.
